Rebecca Alexander’s practice consists of high-end family law and fiduciary/estate litigation for families with estates valued upwards of $5 million, routinely involving estates in the $25 million to $100 million range. She also frequently serves as a consultant for divorce lawyers on trust issues and she takes a hands-on approach in complex divorces involving substantial assets, business valuations, tax, and trust issues. Rebecca appreciates the many situations where the law intersects with personal relationships and, having reached positive outcomes in divorces involving some of Colorado’s wealthiest families, she understands the issues that can arise in high-profile divorce cases involving individuals with substantial community ties. Rebecca believes family disputes are best solved outside the courtroom, and brings diplomacy and creativity to the dispute resolution process while achieving outcomes not possible in court. Having drafted hundreds of marital agreements throughout the country, Rebecca utilizes insight from all aspects of her family law and estate litigation practice to individually help each client consider the types of provisions that can be most beneficial for them.
Rebecca is listed in The Best Lawyers in America© in the area of Family Law. She is a member of the firmwide Women’s Committee and Investment Committee, a member of the Denver office Executive Committee and is the office’s Finance Partner. In addition, Rebecca developed and chairs the GOT Initiative, a program designed to assist seven-plus year associates, counsel, and non-equity partners in their growth as business developers.
